HOW DO I PICK UP MY ESNCARD?

You can pick up your ESNcard at our office at SDU. Please check our social media for opening hours.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PICK UP YOUR ESNCARD:
- Your student ID (or other document stating you are a student or in the mentioned categories below)
- The registration confirmation/invoice sent to your e-mail confirming that you have bought the card.

After you pick up the card, you'll need a 2.6 x 3.4 cm photo (must NOT exceed 2.7 x 3.5 cm). You do not have to bring the picture with yourself. You can cut your photo so it fits the required size.

You can also buy a photo from us that we will print for you on the spot. 


HOW DO I ACTIVATE THE CARD AFTER PICK-UP? 
Go to www.esncard.org and click on "Register" and fill in the information requested. Please put the same name as your travel document.
Congratulations, your card is now active and ready for discounts !

FAQ:
CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP THE ESNCARD FOR ME?
Yes. The person collecting the ESNcard for you must present a picture of your student ID AND the registration confirmation/invoice sent to your e-mail.


CAN I GET THE ESNCARD NUMBER BEFORE I PICK IT UP?
No. It is NOT possible to get the ESNcard number beforehand. You have to pick up the physical ESNcard in order to receive the number.


WHAT DISCOUNTS DOES THE ESNCARD OFFER?

The ESNcard is valid for 1 year.


Before purchasing the card, please make sure you are part of one of the following group:

  • Erasmus+ students
  • Erasmus+ trainees
  • Erasmus+ International incoming students
  • International incoming students or trainees on a mobility programme, other than Erasmus+
  • International undergraduate or postgraduate full degree students
  • EVS participants
  • ESNers: either active on the Local, National or International Level. They are all members of a section
  • ESN Alumni: contact your ESN section and see if you are entitled to receive an ESNcard (this depends on the statutes of each ESN section)
  • ESN buddies: if there is an ESN section in your city, and you are part of a buddy programme, contact the local ESN section and check if you are entitled to receive an ESNcard (this depends on the statutes of each of the ESN sections)..

The ESNcard is your own responsibility, lost ESNcards will not be replaced. Please note that you will need a Odense (or Denmark) ESNcard to participate in our events.
